Tuscany has a large number of beautiful, clean beaches along an extensive coastline. Together with the islands off the Tuscan coast, including Elba, it is the ultimate destination for a wonderful beach holiday.
The most famous seaside resort in the northwestern coastal region of Versilia is Viareggio, known for the CarnivalJust like in the nearby seaside resorts of Forte dei Marmi and Marina di Pietra Santa, you will find a lovely wide sandy beach here that ends south of Viareggio in a pine forest. This forest, which is under nature protection, served, together with Lake Massaciuccoli, as a source of inspiration for Giacomo Puccini, the famous Italian composer. At the foot of the lake in Torre del Lago, the Puccini festival held. In the vicinity of his birthplace Lucca, Tritt – Case in Toscana has various beautiful holiday homes, including Casa di Orazio.

Via the seaside resorts of Marina di Pisa and the fashionable Tirrenia, located somewhat further south, you arrive in Livorno, Tuscany's important port city. The city of Livorno itself has attractive beaches in its southern part for swimming and sunbathing (e.g., Tre Ponti). The coast further south, where many guests stay in seaside holiday homes—also known as the Etruscan Coast—offers great variety: narrow, rock-surrounded bays alternate with fairly long, flat beaches bordered by pine forests. Here you will find seaside resorts such as Vada (with its 'white' beaches), Cecina Mare, Bibbona Mare, and San Vincenzo, until you arrive in Castiglioncello, which offers an unforgettable sight with its picturesque bay. A short distance from these seaside resorts on the Etruscan Coast, we offer charming accommodations with apartments, such as Residence Pomaia en Agriresidence Vista MareIf you really want to sit by the beach, then it is luxury. Villagio I Sorbizzi A fantastic choice.

Via Punta Ala with its sophisticated, modern marina and Castiglione della Pescaia, sheltered by the Castello at the mouth of the wide Bruna river where fishing boats bob dreamily, you enter the beautiful natural area of the Maremma, the southwestern part of the Tuscan coast. An ideal area for hiking and mountain biking. From your apartment at Agriturismo Fattoria La Pieve of Agriturismo Francesca you can map out your favorite routes. A little further south lies the Monte Argentario peninsula, with the seaside resorts of Porto Santa Stefano (with ferry connections to the islands of Giglio, Giannutri, and Montecristo) and Porte Ercole, which, with its two natural harbors, is embedded like a jewel in the delightful landscape. Porte Ercole is also the place where our royal family used to have, and where other celebrities still have their own seaside vacation homes. You can, of course, simply stay with us. Villa Open rent, also located in the Maremma.

Everyone knows Elba from Napoleon, of course, but what many do not know is that, with a surface area of only 29 x 18 kilometers, Elba offers an enormous variety of natural beauty and relaxation. Portoferraio, the 'iron port', is a picturesque calling card and a feast for the eyes when sailing in by ferry from Piombino or Livorno. In the past, the Etruscans also arrived this way, but to mine and ship iron ore. Now, during our road trip in Italy, we come for 'La Dolce Vita' – the good life – to enjoy the many beaches and bays on Elba and the many water sports opportunities the island has to offer. Marciana Marina, Marina di Campo, and Porto Azzurro are the best-known seaside resorts on Elba, but beautiful sandy beaches can be found along the entire coastline, interspersed with rocks and small bays. Perfectly suited for a family holiday on Elba is Agriresidence Piano di Mola.
