Must-see beaches in Sardinia

Azure blue water, white sandy beaches, and secluded bays. Sardinia is perfectly suited for a beach holiday. Enjoy the sun, the sand under your feet, and the stunning views. In this blog, we have selected a number of beaches for you that you shouldn't miss during your holiday in Sardinia.

Rena Bianca Beach, awarded the Blue Flag label, is a paradise just a few hundred meters from the center of Santa Teresa di Gallura. The beach is 200 meters wide and slopes gradually into the sea. This beach is particularly suitable for families with small children and snorkeling enthusiasts. It is a true family beach with views of the south coast of Corsica. It is great to combine with a visit to the center of Santa Teresa di Gallura.

Cove Sabina

Tritt tip: Cala Sabina beach can also be reached from Olbia by a small train! The station is within walking distance of the beach.

A hidden paradise, ideal for those seeking relaxation away from crowded beaches. Cala Spinosa beach is the perfect location for those who enjoy discovering unspoiled places. To reach the beach, you must follow the signs for the Capo Testa lighthouse via a steep path. Cala Spinosa consists of three beaches, separated by colorful rock formations that have been shaped over the years. The first beach consists of a fine, white sandy beach, while the next two feature a yellow, bronze-colored sandy beach. This stretch of the Sardinian coast is popular with snorkeling enthusiasts, while the view of the white cliffs of the Strait of Bonifacio and Corsica is every photographer's dream.

The seaside resort of Palau, on the Costa Smeralda, has been popular among tourists and the Italian population alike for many years. Located near the center of this resort are two beaches that are both worth a visit. The first beach, La Sciumara, is characterized by its coarse, cream-colored sand. From the beach, you have a view of the island of La Maddalena. Porto Faro beach, also known as the jewel of Palau, is located a stone's throw from the Porto Faro district. This beach is one of the most characteristic beaches in northern Sardinia. Porto Faro owes its name to the white lighthouse that dominates the end of the beach. From this beach, too, you have a magnificent view of the islands of the Maddalena Archipelago.

Port Rush

Juniper Cove

Tritt accommodation tip: Residence Baja Sardinia in Baja Sardinia or the Cala di Falco Resort in Cannigione.

In the far northwest of Sardinia, 2 km from Stintino, in Capo Falcone, you will find the beach of La Pelosa. Ask Italians about their favorite beaches in Sardinia and you will certainly hear Spiaggo della Pelosa! The beach is 300 meters long and up to 60 meters wide in some places. From the beach, you have a beautiful view of Isola Piana and the larger island. Asinara behind it. Dominating is the Torre della Pelosa, an old lighthouse from the sixteenth century, located at the end of the 300-meter-long beach. Capo Falcone is a popular diving area; the Asinara Diving Center and the Roccaruja Diving Center, among others, offer excursions to this area.
