Villa Torreruja
The Torreruja villas, are located in Isola Rossa, a typical Sardinian fishing village on the Gulf of Asinara. The spacious villas are perfect for families with children and are just hour's drive from the airports of Olbia and Alghero.
The Torreruja villas are equipped with all amenities and are part of a hotel resort. In the restaurant of the nearby Torreruja hotel you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner (including gluten-free dishes). Within a few minutes' walk you will find several shops, pizzerias, bars with live music, night markets, a tennis court, a football field, car rental, boat rental and pedal boat rental. In short, plenty to do and experience.
Sardinia is best known for its beautiful beaches and the Torreruja villas are also the right place for an amezing beach holiday. There are 3 options nearby:
- The public beach of Isola Rossa is located 200 meters from the villas. The “longa” beach and “nuova” beach are close to the promenade and the harbour. On the beach it is possible to rent beach loungers and parasols.
- A few steps from the villas there are many small coves with red rocks, perfect for snorkeling in the crystal clear sea waters.
- The Marinedda public beach is 800 meters from the villas, accessible on foot by following the paths that pass between the cliffs.
The reception of the Torreruja hotel is available 24 hours a day and accepts payments by credit card. You can go here with all questions,and you can also book excurions. Use of the swimming pool is free during hotel opening hours. Babysitting for children aged 4 to 12 years is available from June 12 to September 2 between 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM and 3:30 PM - 6:30 PM. There is a piano bar where you can enjoy a nice drink until the late hours and shows are regularly organized by the pool. There is ample parking at the hotel (unsupervised).
The Torreruja hotel also features a beautiful Spa Center. The hotel regularly offers an advantageous package to get acquainted with Spa and Wellness in Sardinia. This includes access to the Spa Centro Benessere 'Venere' (half a day per person, on request) with use of various Thalasso pools with heated seawater and hydromassage, sauna, Turkish bath, fitness room and relaxation area.

The Torreruja villas are a 10-minute walk from the town of Isola Rossa. Isola Rossa is a popular holiday destination on the north side of Sardinia. Isola Rossa is about an hour's drive from the airport of Olbia and Alghero and 40 minute drive from Santa Teresa Gallura and Porto Torres. The name Isola Rossa originated from the red color of the island opposite the village and the place is best known for the sea and the beautiful surrounding landscapes. Originally a fishing village, it has now become one of the most popular holiday destinations in all of Sardinia. The distinctive colors of the landscape, with red granite rocks, Mediterranean vegetation and white sandy beaches make this destination a paradise on earth!
The shallow and crystal clear turquoise sea makes Isola Rossa and ideal destination for families with children. There are many hotels and holiday homes in the area, and the town of Isola Rossa has all the necessities to make your holiday in Sardinia unforgettable. The sea is ideal for various sports activities such as surfing, windsurfing and snorkelling. Snorkeling in particular is very popular in this region due to the rich underwater fauna and flora. Castelsardo: 30 minutes drive from Isola Rossa. It is a small village with beautiful sea views. Popular in Sardinia because many souvenirs are still made by hand.
Aggius – Tempio: also 30 minutes away from Isola Rossa. Small villages in Gallura in the middle of a breathtaking mountain landscape and full of old traditions. The perfect excursion to get to know the culture of Sardinia!
Sea safari: Looking for a fun outing with the kids? Then this excursion is perfect. A boat trip around Isola Rossa and Costa Paradiso to get to know dolphins and many other plant and animal species.
Entire day:
- A boat trip from Isola Rossa to Parco Nazionale dell'Arcipelago di La Maddalena.
- A boat trip from Isola Rossa to Bonifacio and the island of Lavezzi (south Corsica).
- A bus trip from the hotel to Porto Cervo and Costa Smeralda to get a glimpse of the life of the wealthier Sardinians in the most elegant tourist port of the Mediterranean.
