Well-kept holiday resort on the east coast of Sardinia with comfortable, spacious apartments and located within short distance from beautiful sandy beaches and the port of Arbatax. An excellent place for families with small children and for people who want to enjoy the beach and nature.
The resort offers 27 bright, well-kept Sardinian-style apartments, located in a colorful building around the pool. There is also a small-scale vacation spot available, located right next to the residence: a private villa with 5 spacious apartments and private swimming pool. If you stay in the villa (type dependance), you are not allowed to use the swimming pool that is located in the main building (and vice versa). The reception and bar are in a smaller building next to the apartments.
The resort offers apartments with 1 and 2 bedrooms; all apartments are well furnished and have air conditioning, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, neat kitchens and a private terrace or balcony with garden furniture, depending on the location on the ground floor or on the first floor.
The owner Paolo and his staff are nice and hospitable people and are ready to answer your questions or advise nice trips and places to see to enjoy your holiday in Sardinia. Children are very welcome at this accommodation: in the garden you can find a playground with a playhouse, climbing frame and swing. During the high season, activities are organized for them several times. For the little ones there is a separate children's pool by the pool.
The bar is a gathering and meeting place. You can start the day here with an (Italian) breakfast, you can drink a nice cappuccino or espresso or something soft during the day, in the afternoon and early in the evening you can have an aperitivo, a glass of wine or a cocktail. The pool has a separate children's pool with anti-slip tiles. The pools are surrounded by a spacious terrace with sun loungers and parasols. The location also offers a laundry room for shared use, a parking garage (bicycles and motorbikes for free, cars for a fee, reservation in advance), private parking spaces (unguarded), Wi-Fi in the apartments and in the public areas and bicycle rental.

The property is located on the area of Arbatax in the province of Nuoro. The small harbour town of Arbatax, which is part of Tortolì, is about 500m away. The town itself and the surrounding area do not offer much entertainment, but the beautiful coastline with jagged rocks of red stone, called the Rocce Rosse, and the white beaches with fine sand and crystal-clear water are an amazing sight.
The closest beach is Porto Frailis, within walking distance, about 800m. The beach has fine white sand and is located in a quiet bay. There is plenty of parking space and there are rental options for sun loungers and parasols.
Among the most beautiful beaches in the area is Lido di Orri, 10 km from your accommodation (on the south side in the direction of Cagliari). This long and wide beach has shallow water that slopes gently and is therefore very pleasant and safe for children. Here, you can find an ample parking space with various facilities such as bars, rental of sunbeds, umbrellas, pedal boats. Also, this is a great beach for surfers. One of the most beautiful parts of the Lido di Orri is Il Golfetto: clear waters and very fine white sand, surrounded by Mediterranean trees and scrub.
You can do your shopping nearby, the bakery is about 200m away, a supermarket is about 500m away.
Several restaurants and pizzerias can be found in Tortolì and Arbatax. The nearest restaurant, 200mt from the residence, in Arbatax, the Ristorante Arbatasar, is highly recommended. At the reception they can give you more tips and options. If you want to enjoy the most beautiful view of the Ogliastra coast, have dinner at Hotel Monte Turri, with a truly beautiful panoramic terrace. An absolute must is also to take a boat trip. This can also be arranged for you at the reception. If you are here at the beginning of August, you can enjoy the Rocce Rosse festival (blues and jazz), where well-known artists often perform.
The accommodation itself rents bicycles, so you can also go to the near beach by bicycle. In addition, there are also various other activities available in the area. Nearby you will find a tennis court, a football field, a sailing and surfing school and, a riding stable (approx. 1.5 km). And for the most adventurous of you, there is rock-climbing. Ogliastra is an important climbing area in Sardinia and there are plenty of opportunities for free climbing, also with guides. The reception can provide you with all the information about this.
